Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a primary school teacher for after-school care at Lindeborg School!

The work team consists of engaged, knowledgeable, and driven employees who look forward to your participation in the planning of the pedagogical work. In your role, you will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing students in our after-school care. Based on the curriculum and our governing documents, you will create an environment in the after-school care that aims to strengthen our students in both their knowledge development and personal growth. As a primary school teacher in after-school care with us, you will also work to offer our students a meaningful leisure time. This includes encouraging diverse contacts, social community, and strengthening group relationships. While our students are in school, you will collaborate with our school staff. It may also be relevant for you to conduct teaching in one or more subjects during the students' school hours.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed primary school teacher for after-school care. It is advantageous if you have previous experience in the profession. You have a good understanding and knowledge of the school's governing documents and know how to effectively apply these in daily work. Furthermore, you possess good didactic and pedagogical skills that enable you to independently lead and organize your work to create a conducive study environment and a good learning atmosphere for our students throughout the day. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work and, with good knowledge and experience, work effectively with relevant digital tools.

About the Workplace

Lindeborg School is located on the outskirts of Malmö, close to green areas and Hyllie station. We are a K-9 school with two parallel classes in primary and middle school and four parallel classes in high school. Approximately 700 students attend here, of which about 210 are enrolled in after-school care. Here you will be offered a good working climate and a pleasant colleague environment.
